Challenged by the constraints of the space, the owners wanted to find a way to maximize all areas while being a secluded gem: spacious and serene.

Utilizing the natural light to highlight the subtle textures of stone, wood, concrete and marble; the gentle shadows soften the space to create an open and tranquil atmosphere while maintaining a rhythm of patterns. To expand the sense of space within the narrow floorplan, subtle grooves resulting in a raked finish run horizontally along the walls eventually ending in a gentle curve that draws the eyes upwards to the wooden ceiling to create a sharp contrast.

In order to accommodate a large family and visiting friends, the bedrooms were designed to be fully maximized. Beds that could be tucked away are fully integrated seamlessly into the design and can be unfolded according to the needs and change the perception of the space.
