Snooze Cafe + Bar

Rough canyon textures interwoven with warm wood accents bring to life a charming cafe nestled on the edge of Quezon City. Stone pavers and loose gravel line the entryway of the cafe to guides the eyes towards the curved counter and its shifting patterns. A long bench opposite the counter finishes the space to allow for a mixed seating style that invites the users to sit down and feel grounded in the moment.

Through a disguised entrance at the back of the cafe, customers can gain access to a speakeasy on the second floor. This space was designed to complement the cafe while still remaining distinct and unique. Replicating the architectural language through the use of curves and textures, the speakeasy stands out through its clever use of lighting to highlight its high ceilings. With a snaking light that guides the user's eyes towards the bar, bathed in blue, the darker tones and metropolitan finishes set the mood for an otherworldly evening.
