KA__________ Bakeshop / Lounge

On the fourth floor of Regis Center, a corner veranda bakeshop / lounge - overlooking the endless sea of Katipunan traffic and the foreground of the Ateneo de Manila University - is envisioned wherein the spatial design draws from the relaxing and yet energizing experience of being amongst close company while recounting one’s day as if in a house garden. The immediate and literal brief of "Tambayan ng Titas" gave birth to a space infused with the tenets of (real) Tropical Interior Greenery , Familiar and Distinct Qualities of custom local materials, and a Versatile Contemporary Lounge Program. As if in Lola or Tita's garden - where sweet treats, coffee, muni-muni, or tsismis are inexhaustible.
